IPS 7–9 Sep: Four Pillars at DWTC
GDMO 31 Aug: IPS 22nd edition, 7–9 September at DWTC. Four pillars for developers, investors and agents. A show floor is a marketplace.
The Government of Dubai Media Office, on 31 August 2026, printed Dubai World Trade Centre’s September calendar. In that list sits the International Property Show (IPS) — Dubai’s annual property marketplace — in its 22nd edition, from 7 to 9 September.
The primary is the GDMO release dated 31 August 2026 (Arabic wording of record on the AR page). This paper reads that calendar. It is a show-floor date, not a Dubai Land Department (DLD — the Dubai land registry) sales table, and not a yield.
What GDMO prints
IPS unites developers, investors, banks, legal firms, agents and auction houses under one roof. The three-day show is structured around four pillars: IPS Future Cities, IPS Design, IPS Services and IPS PropTech Startups. GDMO says it gives buyers a comprehensive property marketplace spanning local and international developments, alongside live project launches and exclusive offers.
The Arabic page names it المعرض الدولي للعقارات, الدورة الثانية والعشرون, from 7 to 9 September, with the same four axes: مدن المستقبل، والتصميم، والخدمات، والشركات الناشئة في مجال التكنولوجيا العقارية. Those are the printed names. They are not a list of projects, and they are not a handover calendar.
The same GDMO calendar places the 15th AIM Congress on the same dates, 7–9 September, at the same venue. AIM is an investment congress, not IPS. Do not merge the two into one ticket.
What the organiser and the venue print
The organiser page on ipscongress.com prints Halls 4–8 at Dubai World Trade Centre, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 7–9 September 2026. It says IPS is aligned with the vision of the Dubai Land Department to attract global investment. Entrance is printed as free for professional visitors, with pre-registration encouraged. Each badge is one person, valid for all three days. Children under 16 must be accompanied.
The venue card on dwtc.com lists 7–9 Sep 2026, industry “Property, Development and Real Estate”, audience Trade Only, organised by Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions. Trade Only means this is not a consumer weekend fair. If you walk in as a first-time buyer, you are still walking a professional floor.
Investor check
Treat IPS as a three-day marketplace with printed hours, not as a purchase. A booth, a launch, or an “exclusive offer” on the floor is a conversation. The document that binds a purchase is the SPA (sale and purchase agreement — the contract that actually commits you). Ownership is the title deed (the document DLD issues when the purchase is registered). Off-plan (a home sold before it is finished) still needs the printed payment plan, the escrow account, and the community name. None of those appear as unit-level facts on the GDMO calendar.
Ask, before you treat a launch as a file: Which community? Which developer? Which SPA? Which DLD registration path? If the answer is only “I saw it at IPS”, you do not yet have a file. This is orientation, not personalised legal, tax or investment advice. Recheck the GDMO calendar and the organiser page before you treat a date or a hall as current.
Agent check
Brief the printed facts: IPS, 22nd edition, 7–9 September, Dubai World Trade Centre, four pillars (Future Cities, Design, Services, PropTech Startups), Halls 4–8, 10:00–18:00, trade only, free for professional visitors with a badge. Co-located AIM Congress is a separate congress on the same dates — do not sell it as the property show.
Do not invent a deal volume, a visitor count, or a nationality mix from this calendar. GDMO did not print those numbers here. Do not tell a client that a live launch on the floor is already a registered sale. Do not shrink “exclusive offers” into a discount you cannot show on paper. If they ask whether a booth replaces RERA (the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, DLD’s regulatory arm) or an escrow account, the honest answer is: the calendar did not say that. It printed a marketplace.
What we did not claim
We did not invent a 2026 visitor forecast, a deal-volume target, or a list of exhibiting developers. We did not treat a third-party press release as the wording of record.
